Planning something special? BOND brings a fully hosted permanent jewellery experience directly to your event, creating an interactive moment your guests can enjoy, share and leave wearing.
What types of events can BOND attend?
BOND can be booked for brand activations, PR and influencer events, product launches, retail pop-ups, beauty and fashion events, corporate celebrations, Christmas parties, experiential gifting and private occasions.
Every experience is tailored around the event, audience and brief, whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger-scale activation.
How does a BOND event activation work?
We bring the BOND permanent jewellery experience directly to your venue. Guests choose their chain and any available charms or connectors before their piece is individually measured, fitted and seamlessly welded.
We take care of the jewellery, specialist equipment and guest experience, allowing BOND to operate as an interactive feature within your wider event.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Guest capacity depends on the length of your event, the jewellery experience selected and the number of BOND technicians attending.
As a guide, each BOND technician can usually accommodate around 8–10 guests per hour for a streamlined bracelet experience. For larger events, multiple technicians can be provided, increasing capacity while keeping queues and waiting times to a minimum.
Tell us your approximate guest numbers and event timings when enquiring and we'll recommend the number of technicians and setup best suited to your event.
Can the experience be tailored to our brand or event?
Yes. BOND experiences can be tailored around your brand, campaign or event, from the jewellery selection and guest experience through to the presentation of the permanent jewellery bar.
Depending on the brief, we can also explore branded signage, co-branding and curated chain or charm selections to create an experience that feels considered and cohesive within your event.
What jewellery can guests choose from?
Our core collection includes sterling silver and 14ct gold-filled chains, with a selection of charms and connectors available. Solid gold options can also be arranged on request.
BOND can create bracelets, anklets, necklaces, rings, belly chains and hand chains. For live events, bracelets and anklets are often recommended because they're quick to fit, work beautifully for guest-created content and help maintain a smooth event flow.
What do you need from the venue?
Requirements are minimal and will be confirmed with you before the event. We generally require a suitable area for the BOND setup and access to a standard power supply where required.
We'll discuss access, setup times and any venue-specific requirements with you in advance so everything is planned before event day.
Do you travel for events?
Yes. BOND is based in Essex and regularly works across London and the surrounding areas, with nationwide bookings welcomed.
Travel requirements and any associated costs will be discussed as part of your proposal.
Are you taking bookings for Christmas events?
Yes — Christmas 2026 bookings are now open.
Permanent jewellery works particularly well for Christmas parties, team celebrations, client events, festive brand activations and experiential gifting, giving guests something personalised to leave wearing rather than a traditional event favour.
December dates can be limited, so early enquiries are recommended for larger events and specific dates.
Is permanent jewellery safe for guests?
Yes. BOND uses specialist permanent jewellery equipment and a small, controlled weld to close each piece. The jewellery is not welded to the skin, and protective measures are used throughout the fitting process.
Guests complete a consultation before fitting so we can identify relevant allergies or suitability considerations.
We do not use our standard welding method on guests with pacemakers or similar implanted electronic medical devices. Where appropriate, alternative non-welded fastening methods can be offered so that guests can still enjoy a personalised BOND piece.
Are you insured and able to provide event documentation?
Yes. BOND holds public liability insurance and can provide relevant event documentation, including risk assessment information, where required by the organiser or venue.
Our equipment and event setup are managed with live-event safety and guest experience in mind.
How does event pricing work?
Event pricing is tailored to the brief rather than using a one-size-fits-all package. Factors such as guest numbers, event duration, jewellery selection, location, staffing and any bespoke requirements are taken into account.

Permanent Jewellery FAQs
New to permanent jewellery? From how it works to choosing your metal, everyday wear and aftercare, here's everything you need to know before your BOND appointment.
What is permanent jewellery?
Permanent jewellery is custom-fitted jewellery designed to be worn without a traditional clasp. You choose your chain and any charms or connectors you'd like, then your piece is measured specifically for you and seamlessly welded closed.
There's no piercing and the jewellery isn't attached to your skin — it's simply a beautifully fitted piece you don't need to take on and off.
Does getting permanent jewellery hurt?
Not at all. The weld joins the jewellery itself and never touches your skin. A protective layer is placed between you and the jewellery during welding, and the process itself takes only a moment.
Is permanent jewellery safe?
Yes. BOND uses specialist permanent jewellery equipment and a small, controlled weld to close each piece. Protective measures are used throughout the fitting process and you'll complete a consultation before your jewellery is fitted.
Can I have permanent jewellery if I have a pacemaker?
We don't use our standard welding method on clients with pacemakers or similar implanted electronic medical devices.
That doesn't necessarily mean you have to miss out. Where appropriate, we can use an alternative non-welded fastening method to create the look and experience of a permanent piece without using the welding equipment.

How old do you need to be?
BOND offers permanent jewellery from age 12. Anyone under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before their jewellery is fitted.
What types of jewellery can you make?
There's much more to permanent jewellery than bracelets. Depending on the chain and design, BOND can create bracelets, anklets, necklaces, rings, belly chains and hand chains.
You can keep your piece beautifully simple or personalise it further with charms and connectors from the BOND collection.
What metals do you use?
Our core collection includes sterling silver and 14ct gold-filled jewellery, with solid gold options available on request.
We'll talk you through the different options when choosing your piece so you can select the metal and style that best suits you.
What is gold-filled jewellery, and is it different from gold plated?
Yes. Gold-filled jewellery has a substantial layer of real gold mechanically bonded to a base metal, rather than the much thinner surface coating typically used for gold-plated jewellery.
This makes gold-filled jewellery much more durable for everyday wear and gives you the look and feel of gold at a more accessible price than solid gold.
Can I shower, swim and exercise in my jewellery?
Permanent jewellery is designed for everyday wear, so normal activities such as showering, sleeping and exercising are all part of wearing your piece.
To help keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend rinsing it with fresh water after swimming and avoiding unnecessary exposure to harsh chemicals, cleaning products and heavily chlorinated water where possible.
How long will my permanent jewellery last?
There's no fixed lifespan for a permanent piece. How long it lasts depends on the metal, chain style, your lifestyle and how the jewellery is cared for.
Sterling silver and 14ct gold-filled pieces are selected with everyday wear in mind, but permanent jewellery is still fine jewellery and can break if it catches or is pulled with enough force — which is an important safety feature.
Can permanent jewellery be removed?
Absolutely. Permanent doesn't mean it can never come off. If you need to remove your jewellery, the connecting jump ring can be carefully cut with scissors or jewellery cutters.
Keep the original chain if you'd like to wear it again, as in many cases we can re-fit and re-weld it for you.
What if I need to remove it for an MRI, surgery or medical procedure?
Always follow the instructions given to you by your medical provider about removing jewellery before a scan, procedure or surgery.
If you're required to remove your BOND piece, carefully cut the connecting jump ring and keep your chain. BOND offers complimentary re-welding when a piece has had to be removed for a medical reason, provided you still have the original chain.
What if I have a metal allergy or sensitive skin?
Please tell us about any known metal allergies or sensitivities before your jewellery is fitted. Our consultation process gives you an opportunity to make us aware of these so we can discuss the materials available and whether they're suitable for you.
What happens if my jewellery breaks?
Don't throw it away. If you still have the original chain, get in touch and we'll advise whether it can be re-welded or repaired.
BOND's 90-day re-weld guarantee applies from the date of your original weld. The original chain must be presented, as lost jewellery cannot be replaced free of charge.
After the guarantee period, re-welding can usually still be arranged for a small fee where the original chain is suitable for re-use.
How long does an individual appointment take?
Most individual appointments take around 15–20 minutes, giving you time to choose your chain, add any charms or connectors, find your perfect fit and have your jewellery welded.

Booking, Aftercare
& Policies
A few important things to know when booking and wearing your BOND jewellery. If you're ever unsure about anything, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
Individual Appointments
Booking fees are redeemable against your appointment but are non-refundable.
Your booking fee may be transferred to a new appointment once, provided at least 48 hours' notice is given.
If less than 48 hours' notice is given, a new booking fee will be required to secure another appointment.
Private Bookings & Events
Booking fees are redeemable against your private booking or event balance but are non-refundable.
We require at least 7 days' notice for requests to change an event or private booking date.
We'll always do our best to transfer your booking to a suitable alternative date where availability allows. If we're unable to accommodate the newly requested date, the original booking fee remains non-refundable.
90-Day Re-Weld Guarantee
We offer a 90-day re-weld guarantee from the date of your original weld.
If your jewellery breaks during this period, we'll re-weld the original chain free of charge where it remains suitable to be re-welded.
Please keep your original chain. Lost chains or jewellery cannot be replaced free of charge.
Medical Removal
If you need to remove your jewellery for an MRI, surgery or another medical procedure, always follow the instructions given by your medical provider.
Keep your original chain after removal. BOND offers complimentary re-welding when a piece has been removed for a medical reason, provided the original chain is retained and remains suitable for re-welding.
Aftercare
Your jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but it should still be treated with care.
Avoid excessive pulling or snagging and unnecessary exposure to harsh chemicals. After swimming, rinsing your jewellery with fresh water can help keep it looking its best.
Your jewellery is intentionally delicate enough to break under sufficient force rather than causing injury if it becomes caught.
Re-Welds & Repairs
If your jewellery needs re-welding after the 90-day guarantee period, we're still happy to help.
Where you have retained the original chain and it remains suitable for re-use, a re-weld can usually be arranged for a small fee.
If you're unsure whether your piece can be repaired, send us a photo and we'll advise you on the best option.
Permanent jewellery is designed to be worn continuously, but no piece of jewellery is indestructible. Longevity will vary depending on the chain, metal, lifestyle and how the piece is worn and cared for.
